-There is no requirement to read music or audition.
-You will be asked to sing to determine your choral part.
-Singers should be dedicated to the time commitment and be able to match pitch. -Come prepared to sing, laugh, and enjoy fellowship with others!
Open to students in grades 2 – 5, the MCMS Children’s Choir brings together young vocalists who share a love of singing and a passion for music. Together they develop skills in group singing, teamwork, listening, movement, and creativity.
4 out of 5 singers in Children’s Choir receive financial aid. We encourage you to apply for assistance so that your child can be part of the choir.
Using a variety of musical styles, rehearsals focus on healthy vocal technique, music reading, the beauty of singing together, and working together as a choral team. Open to students in grades 6-12.
The MCMS Youth Choir Program is grant-subsidized and offers significant financial assistance and scholarship opportunities.
