Boomwhackers, the New Way to Make Music with Polly Towner.
Boomwhackers are all the rage! Just what are they? Colorful, plastic tubes of different lengths that create different pitches when hit (whacked). Music is in color for the beginners, so it is easy to read and play. Each person gets one or two tubes to play, and the group works as an ensemble. There are fun play-along videos as well. Anyone from 5 – 95 can play this fun instrument. Harvard University even as a student group called THUD. Check them out on YouTube. We will have a boomwhacker stand so you will not need to hit the tubes on your body. No pressure, no pain, just pure fun!!
