Teaching Statement
Everyone deserves a chance to shine and express themselves, while also learning the valuable life skills that will make them a well-rounded and successful individual. Fortunately, music is the perfect subject to do just that.
Education
Ms. McConnell graduated from Keene State College in 2018 with a BM in Music Education.
Bio
Ms. McConnell is a professional tuba player, and a vocalist as well. Through the years, she has performed with numerous KSC performing ensembles, including Concert Band, Brass Ensemble, Brass Quintet, Orchestra, Concert Choir, Chamber Singers, and Vocal Consort. She is also a member of the Nevers Second Regiment Band in Concord, NH, and the Winchendon Winds in Winchendon, MA. Ms. Dufresne has been an accomplished tubist for over 11 years, and has studied tuba under the direction of Dr. James Chesebrough, Professor Emeritus of Keene State College.
