My goal is to help each student realize his or her full potential by cultivating a relaxed, friendly atmosphere in my classes where students are comfortable exploring musical ideas and by challenging students with new concepts and techniques.

 

David holds a B.S. in Environmental Horticulture from the University of New Hampshire and an M.S. in Plant Science from the University of Connecticut. David has studied music with Earl MacDonald, Doug Maher, David Newsam, Nathan Jorgensen, Mark Shilansky, and Dallas Vietty.

 

David has been teaching music since 2013. He plays regularly for contra dancing and he also plays with a gypsy jazz trio.
