Wind Ensemble

New Hampshire Wind Ensemble for Advanced Level Players of all Ages

The New Hampshire Wind Ensemble is a Community Concert band that brings together musicians from a wide range of ages. Members must have a desire to hone their skills while performing diverse, engaging music.

Wind Ensemble is designed to:

  • Make a positive contribution to the musical environment of the community
  • Provide a playing opportunity for student musicians to play challenging music with other advanced performers
  • Provide an opportunity for adult musicians to continue their love of performing engaging concert band literature in a community setting
  • Offer music educators an opportunity to utilize their performing skills in a large ensemble

This ensemble is for the serious band performer. You must come prepared to work and be committed to weekly rehearsals.

Rehearse, study scores, learn conducting techniques and play interactive music-based games. Performances will be assembled from individual recorded tracks from each member. Those tracks will be combined to produce a virtual concert that friends and family can attend, where performers will perform live synched with the backing track created from their individual recordings.

*Must have the ability to use “Zoom” and have a way to record audio independently.
