The New Hampshire Wind Ensemble is a Community Concert band that brings together musicians from a wide range of ages. Members must have a desire to hone their skills while performing diverse, engaging music.

This ensemble is for the serious band performer. You must come prepared to work and be committed to weekly rehearsals.
Rehearse, study scores, learn conducting techniques and play interactive music-based games. Performances will be assembled from individual recorded tracks from each member. Those tracks will be combined to produce a virtual concert that friends and family can attend, where performers will perform live synched with the backing track created from their individual recordings.
*Must have the ability to use “Zoom” and have a way to record audio independently.
Adults and Students 8th Grade and Above
Full Year Class for $175
Tuesdays 6:00pm – 7:00pm
Scales: Students should be prepared to play 2 scales (two or three octaves) or their choice.
Solos/Etudes: Students should prepare two etudes, two solos, or two excerpts that represent contrasting styles. Each solo piece should be about two minutes in length.
Sight-reading will only be asked/required during placement auditions in the fall.
