Teaching Statement:
Having the privilege of making a difference in someone else’s life is an honor, and teaching music is the best way to change a person’s life. I’m a better performer when I teach and a better teacher because I perform.

B.M., Virginia Commonwealth University, M.M., Boston University, studied with Gilbert Kalish, Peter Serkin, and Bela Nagy
Teaching/Performance Bio:
Ms. Plummer’s performances include Boston Pops, Boston Ballet Orchestra, Alea II and Pro Arte Orchestra, Music at Eden’s Edge and leading synthesizer player for touring Broadway shows. Former faculty member: Boston University Tanglewood Institute and Longy School of Music. Former Director of Educational Quartets at Handel and Haydn Society and Personnel Manager for Pro Arte Chamber Orchestra. Currently teaches at Phillips Andover Academy, and a private studio.
