Suzuki Open House – April 4th!

Come learn about the Suzuki Method, a unique approach to learning music for students as young as 3 years old, but appropriate for all ages! The community is welcome to stop by and meet with faculty members, students and parents to discuss the programs available at the school.

Friday, April 4, 2014 from 5:30 – 7:30 pm

Experience the Suzuki Method first hand! Come and learn what this unique approach is all about, how it will benefit your child, and the commitment level involved.  These will be inspiring, fun and informative events that will help you make a decision about whether or not to enter into the world of Suzuki!

5:30 – 6:00           Student performances

Suzuki piano, violin and flute students will share their playing in a recital format. Families and visitors are welcomed. Time will be allotted for Q&A throughout the recital. Come and learn more about the Suzuki Approach.

6:00 – 6:30          Class Time!

During this 30 minute block, students will participate in a class and explore either rhythm and note reading or music history highlights. Parent will attend a class as well! The success of the Suzuki Approach is built upon the triangle of Parent, Teacher and Child. This parent class will look at ways to compliment and strengthen the triangle.

6:30 – 7:00          Student performances
