Teaching/Performance Bio:

John has been performing and teaching music for over four decades. He recently retired from his position of 21 years at Timberlane Regional High School where he created and directed the Timberlane Guitar Orchestra, the Timberlane Rock Ensemble, and the Timberlane Community Guitar Orchestra. He currently directs the Timberlane Community Guitar Orchestra, the Manchester Community Music School Folk String Ensemble, and has frequently guest conducted the Boston Guitar Orchestra. He performs regularly with Lichen, Ben Rudnick and Friends, and Celtic Knot in addition to Divergent Strings and solo performances. His compositions have been performed throughout New England and he has over 15 cd’s in his discography. John is also a busy music teacher as a faculty member at Manchester Community Music School. Through his affiliation with the New Hampshire Music Educators Association, he is the chairman of the New Hampshire All-State Guitar Committee.
