Education

Plymouth State University, Bachelor of Arts, cum laude, in Music. Ms. Hodges studied piano with Dr. Carleen Graff and flute with Aubrie Dionne. She was the recipient of a Department Talent Grant for all four years, and the NH Music Teachers Association Doris M. Dodge Freshman Award. Liz has completed Every Child Can, Book One Suzuki Piano teacher training with Gail Lange in Waterloo, Ontario, and Books Two and Three with Sachiko Isihara in Newton, Massachusetts. She has also studied Suzuki Flute Books One through Three with Laurel Mauer at the Hartt College of Music, and in her private studio in Barre, Vermont.

Teaching/Performance Bio

Ms. Hodges is an active member of the Music Teachers National Association and the Suzuki Association of the Americas. She currently maintains a private piano and flute studio in the Manchester area and teaches Suzuki Piano and Suzuki Prep classes at the Suzuki School of Newton, Massachusetts. Her special interests are Suzuki methods, digital ensembles, and ethnomusicology.
