Teaching Statement

Teaching guitar is my passion, and I love working with students of every age. I believe in creating a supportive and encouraging space where everyone feels at ease and ready to embrace their musical journey. In my teaching approach, I prioritize understanding each student’s unique learning needs. I take the time to personalize the pace and style of instruction, ensuring that everyone feels comfortable and empowered in their learning process.

Teaching/Performance Bio

Lisa Ricetti holds a B.M. in performance from the Boston Conservatory and an M.M. in performance from Florida State University. In addition to studying with Neil Anderson and Bruce Holzman, she has also been a student in masterclasses with many of the leading guitarists of our time. She has performed extensively and placed in both International and National Solo Guitar Competitions. Lisa received her Suzuki Training at Hartt Suzuki Institute. She has taught in and around the Boston area including at Powers Music School, Creative Arts, Northern Essex Community College, and Mojo’s Music School.
