Masters in Psychology from Walden University, and recently completed Suzuki training through book 3 with Carol Sykes of the New England Conservatory of Music

Teaching/Performance Bio

Ms. Bond began playing violin at age 3 with Lisa Barca-Hall in New Haven, Connecticut. As a Suzuki child, she played with the Vermont Youth Orchestra and studied with Evelyn Read of the Vermont Symphony Orchestra. Ms. Bond and her husband Chris were founding members of the West Hartford Symphony Orchestra. With a Masters in Psychology from Walden University, she has managed a children’s shelter and also run several youth social service and literacy programs for young children. She has been teaching Suzuki violin for six years and recently completed Suzuki training through book 3 with Carol Sykes of the New England Conservatory of Music. Now, as a mother of five, she understands the challenge of a Suzuki parent!
