Teaching/Performance Bio

Erin Tellier is a classically trained pianist based in the Southern New Hampshire area. Erin started her classical training at age five under the instruction of Russian concert pianist, Mila Filatova, with whom she studied for thirteen years before continuing her education at the collegiate level. Per Filatova’s recommendation, Erin started teaching private piano lessons at the age of fourteen, and continued through her high school years. She then attended Plymouth State University majoring in Piano Performance & Pedagogy where she studied with Dr. Carleen Graff and Dr. Adam Mayon.

Erin currently teaches private piano lessons and music theory lessons in Andover, MA, and is the pianist/organist and choir director at St. Paul’s United Methodist Church. Outside of teaching, she also enjoys doing freelance collaborative piano work and spending time practicing her own classical repertoire.
