Teaching/Performance Bio

Erica Driscoll began studying the harp at the age of eight with Stephanie Curcio. A New Hampshire native, she has performed extensively across Northern New England, including Portland Ballet, New Hampshire Music Festival, Symphony New Hampshire, New Hampshire Philharmonic, the Palace Theater, the North Shore Theater, Symphony By The Sea, and the Portsmouth Symphony. Erica received her B.M. in Harp Performance from The Boston Conservatory and her M.M. in Harp Performance from Carnegie Mellon University where she also served as an Adjunct Professor of Harp to the Music Extension Program. In addition to Manchester Community Music School, Erica teaches at Phillips Exeter Academy, St. Paul’s Academy, Southern New Hampshire University and Gordon College.

“Harpist Erica Driscoll performed her accompaniment with a light touch to coax music that was almost more felt than heard. The Interlude, in perhaps one of the most beautiful performances this reviewer has heard, revolved in phrases that rose and fell like breathing.”
