Mrs. Beland is the Director of Bands at Ross A. Lurgio Middle School in Bedford, NH, where she directs the Concert and Jazz Bands, as well as a Chamber Ensemble. In addition to rehearsing the ensembles she also teaches music theory, arranging, and conducting. Dawn also works on the yearly fall musical at Bedford High School as the Pit Dand Director, including productions of “Fiddler on the Roof,”  and “The Drowsy Chaperone.”

In addition to teaching, Dawn enjoys performing on bassoon. She has performed with various ensembles including the Temple Town Band, the Seacoast Wind Ensemble, and the Derryfield Recreational Theater.
