Come Play for the Hottest, Most Sought-After High-School Performance Jazz Ensemble in the State

The NH Youth Jazz Ensemble performs for many events throughout the academic year, both at the Music School and in the Community. It is a premiere student performance group.

Open Rehearsal and Audition for Returning Students and Prospective Members is June 10th

A fast paced, high-level jazz performance ensemble consists of the areas’ top high-school (and the occasional middle school) jazz musicians. This ensemble’s primary focus is on developing the student’s technique, improvisational skills and deepening their understanding of jazz. Challenging repertoire will include standard, classic and modern jazz charts. Besides great improvisers, we seek STRONG CLASSICAL PERFORMERS with an interest in jazz as well!

• Ages:  Audition required High-school (in rare instances middle school) students
• Class Time:  Monday 6:00 – 8:00pm
• Number of weeks:  Full Year
• Tuition: $495 (Financial aid, monthly payments, other discounts available)

Open reading rehearsal on June 10 from 6 – 8 pm at the Manchester Community Music School.
