The Manchester Community Music School (MCMS) and the Currier Museum of Art will unite the performing and visual arts with the program “Music and Masterpieces”. MCMS faculty member Romeo Melloni, whose music has been performed internationally, will present a selection of pieces inspired by the Museum’s collection. Repertoire includes Schubert, Debussy and Stravinsky performed by Elizabeth Blood, piano; Mark Latham, violin; and Stephanie Ratte, clarinet. A gallery tour will follow the performance. Through this pairing, you will gain a deeper understanding and appreciation of both art forms and the influences they have on one another. Space is limited, reservations are highly recommended.
$10 Currier Members, $20 Non-members. To purchase tickets visit http://currier.obsres.com/Info.aspx?EventID=200.
