Reception to follow
Former Music School faculty member and renowned pianist George Lopez will present a master class and performance on Thursday, June 6 from 5:30-7:30 p.m., with a reception following. Mr. Lopez served on the Music School faculty from 1995-2008; he is currently the Beckwith Artist-in-Residence at Bowdoin College in Brunswick, Maine.
The event offers the rare opportunity to observe this acclaimed artist close at hand as an educator, and to enjoy the talents of the young musicians whom he will coach. Following the master class, the audience will enjoy a performance by Mr. Lopez.
This event is free and open to the public.
