The Manchester Community Music School Hosts Several Events Every Year:

Share the Music is our biggest fundraiser of the year, but it is so much more than that, it is a community celebration of everything the Music School stands for and works to achieve. The focus is on celebrating our students, faculty, and supporters – their amazing achievements and the truly great work they do.

Enjoy hearty hors d’oeuvres, beer, wine, and cocktails, music, dancing, a silent auction, and raffles – all while helping us to Change Lives Through the Power of Learning, Sharing, and Making Music!

The highlight of the evening is a performance by our very own New Hampshire Youth Jazz Ensemble. This group, conducted by Carl Benevides, is comprised of some of the best jazz students in the state, who provide an outstanding set of jazz standards that get the entire room on their feet dancing.

All funds raised from this event provide financial assistance for students to participate in Music School programs such as private lessons, ensembles, chamber groups and music therapy services.

This year’s celebration will be held at Southern New Hampshire University.

Manchester Community Music School’s Holiday Pops Concert is a celebration of the sounds of the season as we come together to kick off the holidays with a wonderful night of festive music, tasty treats, and holiday cheer. This event sells out every year with more than 300 audience members in attendance and over 100 performers including our NH Youth Ensembles, and chamber groups, and flute choir.

For one night each year, the Manchester Community Music School hosts Jazz Night – a night of fast-paced, high energy, get up off your feet and dance jazz repertoire featuring a special guest jazz performer, as well as our very own NH Youth Jazz Ensemble!
