Teaching Statement
I believe in building and enriching the whole student, finding connections between music and other interests. For me it is generally math, but once I learn more about each student I can tailor metaphors to their passions outside of music as well as just in musical terms. I want students to truly enjoy making music and find a love in it. While I do encourage and at times push my students to new and exciting levels, I make sure they are ready for it first. My students will always have a say in their instruction.

Teaching/Performance Bio
Caterina has been teaching out of her own private studio as well as in community music school settings since 2017, and is thrilled to be returning to the music school she spent most of her time learning many different aspects of playing the violin growing up. She is also an avid performer having played with the Orchestra of Indian Hill, now Vista Philharmonic Orchestra since 2017 as well. Caterina is also a freelance violinist, playing weddings all over New England, and filling in when a choir is singing with an orchestra. She has performed with the Pemigewasset Choral Society as both an orchestra member and a soloist as well as the Manchester Choral Society. Caterina lives close by in Manchester with her dog Chloe, who she loves dearly.
