Colin Mainella, trumpet, Honors Brass

Colin Mainella, trumpet, Honors Brass – Colin Mainella received his B.A. in classical trumpet performance from SUNY Purchase Conservatory of Music in New York, where he was a student of Graham Ashton and Richard Clymer. After graduating in 2012, Colin moved back to the NH seacoast to pursue his career in performance and education. He performs, rehearses and collaborates with many local musicians and artists in the New England area such as OurBigBand, The Soggy Po’ Boys, Cirque Desolate, The Dover Brass Quintet, and others. Colin also teaches privately at several schools and institutions in New Hampshire including the Timberlane School District, Pinkerton Academy and Manchester Community Music School. Past performances include Portsmouth Symphony Orchestra, New England Brass Quintet, and the Boston Youth Symphony Orchestra.
