Teaching/Performance Bio:
Claude Fried has recently settled into the New England area and is an active freelancer on all low-brass instruments while maintaining a huge teaching studio and running several ensembles. Mr. Fried’s experience spans from orchestral and wind ensemble performance (with groups such as Lexington Symphony, Cape Anne Symphony, Symphony by the Sea, and Rockingham Wind Symphony among others) to all flavors of jazz (notably performing and recording with the NOLA-inspired Soggy Po Boys as well as playing with big bands from Boston up to Portland). He is also a very experienced musical theater pit musician, recording artist, author, and chamber musician (having recently performed with New England Brass Quintet, Patriot Brass, and the New York Chamber Brass). Mr. Fried currently lives on the Seacoast of NH.
