Carl R. Benevides, NH Youth Jazz Ensembles Conductor; saxophone and music technology

B.M., UMASS Lowell; M.Ed., Plymouth State University

Teaching/Performance Bio:

Mr. Benevides’ performances include Carnival Cruise Lines, 215th Army Concert and Jazz Bands, and the Evan Goodbrow Band. A specialist in music technology, he has presented clinics at Berklee College of Music, UMASS Lowell, NH All-State Conference and New England Band Director’s Institute. Mr. Benevides serves on the Executive Board of NH Music Educator’s Association and is currently All State Band Manager. He has taught the jazz ensemble and saxophone at UNH Summer Youth Music School, and is currently is Director of Bands at Souhegan High School.
