Concert Orchestra and Dino Anagnost Youth Symphony Orchestras

The Manchester Community Music School is holding auditions for the 2018-2019 academic year. This is a wonderful opportunity for band and orchestra students to come together with students from around the area to make music! As always, financial assistance is available, tuition costs should never be a deterrent for a student wishing to participate in an ensemble.
Auditions will be held on June 5th and June 19th starting at 4:30 pm.

This ensemble focuses on nurturing and inspiring young string players. Conductor Paul Pinard works with the ensemble to develop proper tone quality, master bowing techniques, and refine ensemble skills. He also strives to encourage both musical and personal growth in each member by cultivating a sense of responsibility, commitment, self-discipline, and confidence.
Ages: Middle school and high school students – Intermediate level players
Rehearsal Time: Tuesdays 4:15 – 5:45 (Starting in September)
Dino Anagnost Youth Symphony Orchestra
Conducted by Dani Rimoni, this is a full orchestra ensemble comprised of strings, winds, brass, and percussion players. This orchestra is a unique opportunity for students of traditional band and string programs to come together and experience high-level symphonic literature. Students will gain confidence in ensemble techniques, refine individual musicianship, and perform and collaborate with like-minded peers and mentors.
Ages: High School and occasional middles school students
Rehearsal Time: Tuesdays 6:15-7:15 – Strings Sectional, 7:30-8:45 – Full Orchestra (Starting in September)
