Winter into Spring

Many composers of different musical genres have been inspired by nature, and the seasons in particular. We will pay a visit to winter and lead ourselves into spring with music as our guide, including diverse works such as The Four Seasons by Vivaldi, a brilliant reimagination of Vivaldi by modern composer Max Richter, Stravinsky’s The Rite of Spring, Jazz trumpeter Clifford Brown’s Joy Spring, the bittersweet tune by Fran Landesman & Tommy Wolf,  “Spring Can Really Hang You Up The Most”, and many more.
