The 17 piece Clayton Poole Orchestra will celebrate Autumn and music with all the excitement that comes with it—the crisp air, changing leaves, cozy atmosphere, the apple picking, and pumpkin pie have all been included in this audible fall bucket of musical selections yielding an amazing jazz harvest! Big band arrangements of such tunes as Woody Herman’s “Early Autumn”, Stan Kenton’s “Autumn in New York”, Count Basie’s “Indian Summer”, Benny Goodman’s “Autumn Nocturne” and many other jazz classics that were inspired by the fall season will be presented. In addition, vocalist CJ Poole will be performing his renditions of “Walking My Baby Back Home” and “Things We Did Last Summer”, arranged especially for the Orchestra. The Clayton Poole Orchestra, a powerful ensemble comprised of nationally acclaimed alumni of such name big bands as Buddy Rich, Woody Herman, Glenn Miller and Maynard Ferguson, will be presenting a potpourri of fall classics that will hail the season in all it’s glory;  a concert not to be missed!
