Music Therapy Groups

Music therapy groups are focused on increasing the students social and communication skills, awareness of others, turn-taking and following directions. All groups will have a minimum of 3 and maximum of 6 participants and will run for 45 minutes each week for a 6-week session. The students may be verbal or non-verbal and are welcomed to bring any augmentative communication devices that may enhance communication and participation. Groups will be determined based upon age, diagnosis, and the developmental level of each participant. Typical activities in music therapy groups include instrument playing, song writing, improvisation, singing, movement, and many other music based activities.

Tuition for Group Classes: 14 week session

45 minute group session: $395

Before a student is placed in a group or dyad, he/she will need to be evaluated to determine the best learning situation for the student. The cost of the group or dyad includes an interview with the primary caretaker and a one-on-one evaluation, which will take place at the Music School.
