MCMS is committed to providing opportunites for audiences to enjoy live concerts in the greater Manchester area.  As our gift to the community, MCMS presents free concerts performed by our students and artist faculty throughout the year.

CONCERT SERIES

Music's on the Menu Downtown Brown Bag Lunch Concert Series is our noontime concert series.  A joint presentation of the Manchester Community Music School and Grace Episcopal Church,  Music's On the Menu concerts take place in Manchester at Grace Episcopal Church (on the corner of Lowell and Pine Streets) from 12:10 - 12:50pm on the third Wednesday of each month from October to April. Admission to all performances is free. Concertgoers are invited to bring and enjoy their lunch while they listen to a broad array of talented local musicians playing an eclectic music mix from classical to jazz.

Manchester Chamber Players
 The Manchester Chamber Players are the faculty ensemble in-residence of the Manchester Community Music School, performing outstanding chamber music works.  They enrich the cultural fabric of the greater Manchester region with performances by some of New England's finest freelance musicians. Comprised of MCMS faculty and their colleagues, the Manchester Chamber Players perform fine classical and jazz music in evening concerts in MCMS's Gruber Recital Hall, and in noontime concerts at various venues in the region. Now entering their fifteenth season, they have attracted a loyal following.
 
New Hampshire Youth Ensembles Program
The most comprehensive youth ensemble program in the state, the New Hampshire Youth Ensembles was established in 1983 and has flourished over the past 25 years.  The NH Youth Symphony Orchestra, NH Youth Jazz Ensemble, NH Youth Wind Ensemble, and other youth ensembles perform in free concerts at MCMS at 2291 Elm Street.
