Community Partnerships

The Manchester Community Music School has a long tradition of partnership with other community organizations in the Greater Manchester area. We are dedicated to bringing music education and enjoyment to everyone in our community and believe that organizations working together on specific projects can only increase our impact.

Collaborations with other arts organizations and social service agencies are a priority and part of our Community Connections. We strive to work with our fellow nonprofits to enable special needs, at-risk, and under-served youth in our community to participate in after-school music programs and summer music camps. Among our partners are the Manchester Boys and Girls Club, Child Health Services, the Manchester YWCA, Child and Family Services of Manchester, Moore Center Services, Gateways, Therapy for the Performing Arts, Easter Seals of New Hampshire, the PLUS company, Kidz Play Pediatric Therapy Centers, Seniors Count!, and HEAR in NH .

In addition to our connections with local nonprofits, we are proud to maintain many open and collaborative partnerships with the Manchester Schools and other area public schools.

As we continue to grow and expand in our new space, MCMS is fulfilling a long-term need of the community as a permanent regional music education and performance center. We are your Community Arts Center! Many community arts groups have shared our space, including the New Hampshire Philharmonic Orchestra, Granite State Opera, New Hampshire Music Educators Association, National Association of Teachers of Singing, New Hampshire Music Educators Association, and the NH State Council on the Arts.

We strive to make our concerts, workshops, our talented faculty, and our unique facility accessible to everyone in the community! The future is exciting for music education and the arts in New Hampshire, and the Manchester Community Music School is proud to take a leadership role.
